2. What information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, call, email or WhatsApp us, we collect what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, the area you live in, and details about the care your loved one may need.
Health information. To understand what care would help, you may tell us about your loved one's health, mobility or memory. POPIA treats health information as special personal information. We only collect and use it with your consent, and only to respond to you, assess care needs and provide care.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, your browser and device type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. See section 6.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a free care assessment
- To plan and provide care if you become a client
- To keep in touch about care you have asked us about
- To understand how our website is used and improve it
- To meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed, with:
- The carers and staff who will look after your loved one, limited to what they need to know
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as HubSpot (website, forms and contact records), Google (website analytics) and Meta (WhatsApp and Facebook messages you send us)
- Health professionals or authorities, where you ask us to, or where the law requires it, or in an emergency to protect someone's life or health
5. Information stored outside South Africa
Some of our service providers, including HubSpot and Google, store information on servers outside South Africa. We use providers that are bound by data-protection laws or agreements offering protection comparable to POPIA.
6. Cookies

7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires. Enquiries that do not lead to care are deleted when they are no longer needed. Care records are kept for as long as the law requires after care ends.
8. How we protect it
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your information safe, including limiting access to people who need it and using reputable, secure service providers.
